HECK YEAH!

Version 3.0 of my game, Bivouac, is now out.

- Better UI.
- WAY smarter training bot for solo play.
- Optional notifications so you can know if someone's looking for a match.

And most amazing of all?

::drum roll::

I submitted it for review last night at like 8pm PT. Good job, #AppReview!

It's since last Thursday that NewsNinja is waiting for review from Apple... minor version, a simple bug fix affecting users, but sure, take your time.. 😢 #Apple #AppStore #AppReview
✨ Oh, joy! Another app promising to save us from our digital ignorance. Loupe is here to educate us poor iPhone users on what our precious apps can see 👀—as if we didn't already suspect they’re spying harder than our nosy neighbors. 🙄🔍 #Groundbreaking #Obvious

55 hours to approve the release. From 11pm on Tuesday to 6am on Friday. Two full calendar days and a night. Not long ago, this took about 18 hours, now it’s 3x as long. #appstore #appreview
Well shit, now I'm officially in #AppReview Hell. I resubmitted everything to the #AppStore, iOS was approved quickly, but the macOS version got another rejection after 2 days, this time stating that my-in app puchase flow „may mislead or confuse users about the subscription terms or pricing“. Of course, that flow is unchanged for over two years and never been a problem before. @rejected
The #AppStore saga continues: After 8 days, the macOS version was rejected by #AppReview on a metadata technicality, forcing me to also resubmit the already approved iOS version. Lets hope I won’t regret any of this …

The macOS version of Bluestodon finally went into review, but ended up in a rejection, because a last minute change I added (to clear the composer with the ⌘+N) replacing the default New Window option in the File menu. This resulted in not being able to get to a new window anymore if the window was closed - so, they actually found a bug. 🥲

I've already fixed the issue and submitted a new build for review - hopefully this time it will be faster 😅

Eight days for the Bulletin 2.1 Mac app to get through app review (clean review). Just in time for me to submit 2.1.2 and too slow for 2.1.1 to even be submitted. I guess wait another eight days, then repeat? 🤷‍♂️ #AppReview #Apple #MacOS #IndieDev #iOSDev #WWDC26

An annoying thing with submitting for review - while waiting for review, there are some fields you can edit - but not screenshots - to update those , you need to reject the build and submit an entirely new build (just for swapping out a screenshot) 🫠
