I am completely missing the value of the call from #Google, #Anthrophic. #OpenAI, #Microsoft (via the #FrontierModelForum) asking for #regulation around #AI

- It doesn't include some unethical companies (#Meta)
- It's #SiliconValley focused. Silicon Valley isn't the world
- A small group of well funded people can build reasonable models in stealth
- Companies will be able to structure themselves to protect the founders
- Watermarking won't be effective
