Today I went looking for a cat on a building in Govan, and found this rather wonderful dragon instead!
It's on the B listed Cardell Halls and Public House on Govan Road, Glasgow, which was buit in 1894.

One of the more unusual animals which can be found in Glasgow's architecture is this beautifully carved, if slightly odd-looking, walrus above the door of 190 West George Street.
