Btw, in academia we often take seminar speakers out for dinner, even though that’s not super family friendly. So here is the mom version: second breakfast, directly after Kita drop-off with ☕️ and 🥐

So happy to finally meet in person after a looong time of collaborating via zoom! 🥳

It’s a wrap for the Ambassadors for Better Research Culture #InternationalWomensDay event #WarwickUni ! Thanks again to all the panelists: attendees praised your openness, honesty, positivity + were encouraged by your perseverance in your careers! You reaffirmed that it’s possible to succeed as #academicmum to our audience #womeninSTEM #RoleModel

I’m emerging from my months of lurking on Mastodon and want to promote an important cause to my Warwick Uni colleagues!

To coincide with #internationalwomensday celebrations, we are hosting a panel discussion on the topic of balancing parenthood and an academic research career, with a line-up speakers who became mothers at different career stages.

Date: 07/03/2023
Time: 10:30am - 12pm
Location: T0.08-T0.09 (CTU/MCBB ground floor seminar rooms, Gibbet Hill campus)
