I hate the OPUS card with a passion.

I can’t even buy a weekly fare for the last two weeks of February, or even single use tickets. They’re not available for my card.

So, I had a couple of hours to dwell on it.

The names are okay. Some will be a mouthful, but as usual… we will get used to it.

Some of them will get shortened in colloquial speech, like “Montmo”, “Berri” or “Square-Vic”.

Do they represent the local area? No.
Is it an issue in 2025? Also no. People navigate using GPS systems, not some specific landmark.

My only gripe, Cesira Parisotto is mispronounced in the recordings shared by the STM.
