ADHD coaches: how did you get started?
I'd love to help people but I'm a bit at a loss about how to go about it.

Have you ever wondered what you can work on or talk about during coaching? I've written a super short list to give you an idea!

What can I work on in coaching? This short post is all about some of the topics we can discuss in coaching. I've written it because sometimes people tell me they're not sure how coaching might work because they don't know what's possible. To keep it nice and simple, I'll just list out the most
If you are minded to think about your direction next year in ND-friendly ways...talk about areas for development and experiences instead of "new year's resolutions". It can help if you have demand avoidance or worries about your ability to follow-through on what you ask of yourself.
I also changed the wording of some of the more traditional goal-setting categories to make them less anxiety-inducing and a bit more likely to deliver what ADHD or autistic folk need.
Who has adventure and interest goals for next year?
What are they? Why would you love to have, be or feel them?

This toot seems to be interesting, so I'll add a few things:
* I'm a recent and late-in-life #ADHD diagnosis, so navigating all this has been a whole ordeal in itself.
* My current ADHD medication regime is 80 mg of atomoxetine per day, and 10 mg of dex twice a day.
* The medication helps me stay organised and keep my home tidy, but concentrating well enough to do long form writing (for example) is incredibly difficult.
* #Anxiety and #depression are potentially the greater contributing factor to my concentration issues, but right now I just don't know. I've been dealing with severe depression for about three years now, so I don't really know where the depression ends and other factors begin.
* I do intend to see an #ADHDCoach, but finding an effective one, making sure they're a good fit for me in terms of specialities and mutual chemistry, and (hardest of all) being on the phone to ask questions are enormous barriers right now. I know this is ironic.
