Vance was raised in a violent, alcoholic home. His Mawmaw poured gasoline on his sleeping, drunk gandfather and dropped a burning match on him!!

But the center of all his anger towards women is his drunk addict mother. She broke his heart endlessly.

The man is pure vitriol- unresolved abuse and neglect and he has a national platform on which to work his revenge.

Very sick. Toxic.

Good to see that something remotely positive has come out of that #RoboDebt Royal Commission.

In the early 1990s I remember being preached at about a new, wonderful etc etc change in the department I was working in. (Not Centrelink) I got up and walked out saying I had work to do.

Later they made a massive cut to our clients' allowances, and the phones exploded in my area. I gave all my staff the direct number of the faceless one in Canberra who had made the decision and told them to give the number to any clients complaining.

He'd never been face to face (so to speak) with clients before.This did nothing to enhance my standing with Canberra. He made the decision, he could wear the results. I ended up on the sh!tty end of that stick but with a clear conscience.

2023 takes a left turn.
After 14.5 years of sobriety, the emotional pain has become so bad in recent months that I have hit a second rock bottom, and ended up in ACA/ACoA.
It's immensely difficult, but I have hope again.
