Spent the week in Nevada/California, which is beautiful, but I’m so happy to be home sweet home in the Lake Champlain basin. Here two views from my flights. Yesterday, my family paid a visit to Fort Ticonderoga in Lake Champlain's South Basin. Visiting the fort taught us about the strategic importance of the lake during the French and Indian War & Revolutionary War. Hydrologically, the La Chute River, which drains Lake George, empties into Champlain at Ticonderoga. This view is from Mt.
