Gravel road perfection. The groads of Rensselaer County NY are phenomenal. Mostly low traffic class 1 gravel through rural areas dotted with farms. The terrain isn't too steep but you will get some short 20% climbs. It's punchy to say the least.

@samluyk the route is done on paper (well screen). Absolute worst case it's more road/pavement than I prefer but even then it's 50-60% off pavement. Best case it's 50% on trails and 85% off pavement. It begs the question, why isn't there more #bikepacking activity in the #Adirondacks beyond cycling being sort of frowned upon in the forest preserve.

From Balm of Gilead Brook in the #Adirondacks. I find that freezing the water at 1/250th highlights its movement captured in time, where six seconds turns it into a smooth silk highlighting the hardness of the rocks.
