In parallel, active construction of a military camp for new artillery and engineering brigades is ongoing in #Kandalaksha (#Murmansk region).
◾️ As part of the reinforcement of troops near #Finland, #Russia is also establishing an entirely new #44th Army Corps in the Republic of #Karelia. In practice, this means about 15,000 more soldiers behind the eastern border.
Additionally, according to the Republic of #Karelia's administration, a railway troops brigade has been established in #Petrozavodsk, with its headquarters and one battalion — several hundred soldiers — already operational.

A #Ukrainian mom, #Alina_Otzemko, wrote a book about kids and their dads who fight for them on the frontlines called "Why daddy isn't home." Her son's dad will never return home.
Her 3 year old son #Yurii kept asking whether daddy would be coming home. Dad #Vasyl was protecting #Yurii and all #Ukrainian kids in the #44th Separate Mechanized Brigade. So #Alina wrote a book that would help kids understand.
As the book was prepared for publication, #Vasyl died defending #Ukraine.
