#Tetiana and #Vasyl_Hrushko from #Kamianka near #Izium, #Kharkiv region, lost their limbs due to landmine explosions. #Vasyl was injured by a mine in 2022, and #Tetiana lost her limb in the summer of 2023.
Every fifth resident of #Kamianka has traumatic amputations. This village is one of the most heavily mined settlements in the region.
The couple joke with each other, support, help with daily tasks, and manage their household together.

Mrs #Zinaida lived in #Ulanove, 2Sumy region, near the border with #Russia. She and many other people had to leave their home due to #Russian strikes

The dormitory where those relocated people lived is now ruined. They will have to settle somewhere else, build a life from scratch - again.

A #Ukrainian mom, #Alina_Otzemko, wrote a book about kids and their dads who fight for them on the frontlines called "Why daddy isn't home." Her son's dad will never return home.
Her 3 year old son #Yurii kept asking whether daddy would be coming home. Dad #Vasyl was protecting #Yurii and all #Ukrainian kids in the #44th Separate Mechanized Brigade. So #Alina wrote a book that would help kids understand.
As the book was prepared for publication, #Vasyl died defending #Ukraine.
Three brothers - #Vasyl, #Vitalii, and #Volodymyr_Pedko joined the Armed Forces of #Ukraine at the beginning of #Russia's full-scale invasion.
“I use every moment to come to our mother, especially if my brothers come on vacation, we try to use the chance to meet each other,” the youngest brother, military chaplain #Volodymyr_Pedko said.
The family is doing everything possible for our victory and dreams of celebrating it together in #Ukrainian_Crimea.
