#Yurii showed the conditions in which he and his wife are surviving through the winter on the first floor of a residential building in #Kyiv.
No electricity, hot water, or heating. The average temperature in the apartment is about 3°C. #Yurii sleeps in warm clothes and walks around in felt boots. Despite temperatures dropping to -20°C and below, the couple say they have no choice but to stay home and adapt to the conditions.

#Yurii worked as a neurologist for 25 years. Due to personal circumstances, he did not leave #Donetsk after the city was seized by #Russian forces.
