I just merged a pull request from github user jeffqchen (https://github.com/jeffqchen) on my 386 QFP to PGA adapter: https://github.com/hkzlab/386DX_QFP_PGA_Adapter/tree/main/3D_Print

They added a wonderful 3D printable jig to ease the soldering on the pins at the bottom of the adapter.
Should you need to build one, this is probably the way to go
