We had 17 games made for this year's Zero Hour Game Jam! #0hGameJam is a fun event where you make a game during the hour that gets rolled back for Daylight Savings. Yes, from 1am to 1am! 🕐😅 A bunch of us were up in the middle of the night and so many great games got made. (Even a tabletop game!🎲) Check them all out over on @itchio! https://itch.io/jam/pigsquad0hgamejam2024/entries

I did the Zero Hour Game Jam this weekend with @PIGSquad. OMG what a bunch of silly fun. Basically you make a game in the hour that gets rolled back for Daylight Savings. You start at 1am, then jam for an hour until the clocks roll back to 1am. So... zero hours. We do a big thing in the @PIGSquad Discord where everyone jams together and it's so much fun. I made a silly clicker game, but I love how it came out. https://mboffin.itch.io/dylans-short-attention-span

Dylan's Short Attention Span by MBoffin (Dylan Bennett)

A casual clicker game. No point. Just something to pass time.

Okay, so, let's talk about game jams.

I used to participate in the #js13k until a number of things soured it for me (including weird partnership with crypto companies). It had and still has a nice community, and I think that's the thing that I loved the most.

Also did this year's #0hGameJam which was super fun primarily because it's very shitposty and casual (and hilariously obvious when itch spammers submit completed games)!

Any other semi-regular #GameJam events with a good community?
