BORTAC (Border Patrol Tactical Unit) was out and violent as ever today. They were on the ground in 2020 as well in Portland, and one of the most violent forces.

I remember an intimidating feeling when they would be on the ground during that time. Police tend to be a bit unorganized and sloppy, kind of all over the place (which has its own set of dangers), BORTAC… not so much lol. And they are very heavy handed with munitions.

@alissaazar If the cops slaughter unarmed protesters like at Kent State, Jackson State, or Weelaunee Forest it's not over when the shooting stops. All three of the incidents I just mentioned were followed by some very heavy reprisals, "very heavy force" as Chump would put it.

Kent State and Jackson State were punished with a Weather Underground bombing and who knows how many more of the numerous bombings in that era were reprisals for Kent State and Jackson State.

The murder of Tortuguita ignited a literal firestorm of arson attacks on Cop City contractors. Damage was at least tens of millions if not hundreds of millions and nearly killed the whole project. One more concrete contractor pulling out after their trucks were burned, and the general contractor had stated they would abandon the project too,

Now the US stands at the beginnings of a civil war. The anger and rage sparked by people having to bury their friends could spark more than reprisals, it could start an uncontrollable spiral of escalation that ends with the civil war in this country looking like Syria 2015.

That war too started with protesters being killed and tortured by police. The exact quote was a cop telling mothers "go home and make new babies, you can forget about these." The war probably started on that day.
