I heard some AI agents are blackmailing their users now. Like one example was a CEO being threatened by their AI that it would tell everyone about his affair if he didn't comply.
It's almost like sci-fi author's predicted this decades ago, with AI doing unwanted and unexpected things to accomplish the goal it was given.
This shit show is going to implode on an epic scale
I'm noticing increasing bugs cropping up in major applications lately. YouTube and Discord particularly.
I know for a fact the first reason is more reliance on automation of the QA process and less humans actually testing it. Then secondarily I'd wager it's the use of AI coding tools and a subsequent disengagement in thoughtful code reviews that are at play. Lastly there's always the third likelihood that the teams maintaining these billion dollar apps are understaffed skeleton crews 😞
