@redeagle Maybe it's the driving part that you hate? How can you sit inside your car and look out at all the other people just trying to exist and say it's their fault you're having a bad experience. What about your own choices?

Not sure if I've ever been so impressed by open source as yesterday, when I installed an OSS firmware on my wifi router.

Since I bought my netgear routers several years ago, firmware updates have made them very annoying. I had two routers set up, one as a main DHCP and a second as a dumb access point. I configured the main one, then I needed to access the AP.

I tried to go to the IP address of the AP, and the router redirected me to routerlogin.net, which the main recognizes as itself....
