a much more near final look at one of the first puzzles in my #puzzlegame meant to teach the basics of The Device (does it make it sound cool if it's capitalized Like That?) :)

@yurisizov last year i got a new ssd just so i can download the whole Soniss GDC colleciton. i also have plenty of synths, though for sound effects i tend to jump into Vital first. plenty of other effect VSTs. i also found that i like Reaper's ReaFIR for noise reduction better than audacity's and it's realtime too 👀
Airwindows has lots of great FOSS effect VSTs, eg. MatrixVerb is an excellent reverb.
youtube pet peeve: youtubers apologizing/making jokes about how technical a video is going to get.
that's what im here for! feed it directly to me!

So. A couple of weeks ago I shared a video of a "Play from here" plugin that I developed for my game in #godot. And today I decided to make the plugin publicly available on GitHub. Enjoy!! Hopefully you'll find it useful in your projects.

@unfa this is so nice. i'm very pleased it has different options for phasing because that often becomes a problem when doing "traditional" OTT

@theludovyc hey! if you mean conceptually, i started off with one mechanic (the field you can just barely see in the glass room) and tried to think how to make it work with other elements. in this for example, i thought about how to "obstruct" that central element's main function until the player unblocks it in some way.

puzzle design is still something i struggle with so it takes a long time.

are you a puzzle dev yourself?

ohhh so thats how you do the little hashtag cards, put the hashtags at the bottom of the post on its own line. good to know!

puzzle design is hard but i think this one's done for now
