Software Engineer. Usually working with #Rust, C, embedded Linux. Learning Linux kernel development. Using #AlpineLinux and #OpenBSD. #vegan because it's the only right choice.

#IPv6 is the most recent version of the IP standard. IPv4 is deprecated and should be phased out ASAP.

The Register

Hello! After almost 3 years in my current job I'm looking for a new job around Stuttgart (hybrid, or fully remote in Germany)!

I am Thomas, 27 years old and looking for a job in embedded Linux software engineering. Languages I use are mostly C and Rust, but I'm open to learn/use other languages.

I am interested in embedded Linux, Linux kernel driver development (C and Rust), low-level application development, and Linux BSP development (i.e. Yocto). I use and occasionally contribute to Alpine Linux in my free time and have experience maintaining a custom Debian-based distribution. I've been using Linux as my main operating system for around 10 years now.

You can contact me here or through any of the channels listed on my website: https://wiredspace.de/about/#contact
I will give out my CV after initial contact as I'm not comfortable posting it online.

Please boost this post if you can, I'd be very thankful for that.

Thank you!

it's a little annoying how much i've recently used duckduckgo only to find that the search results are atrocious and try it with google, with them not being much better of course. it's unironically starting to get sort of difficult for me to actually find what i'm looking for with search engines

PSA: Please add a content warning if you decide to post Epstein related content. I'm tired of *constantly* seeing pedophilia mentioned or discussed in-depth. It's important to know about it and who was involved in it, yes, but not everyone always has the capacity to constantly be bombarded with news like that. This is what content warnings are meant for, use them. Thank you.
