last week i announced i am retiring. not sure what the next step is but i figured i'd rot in my chair if i didn't force myself to find out. i've been blessed in my career that this is a possibility. my only plan so far is to study naval architecture and learn to be a better sailor.
my soon to be former employer is opening two reqs to replace me, one an IT/sysadmin (1/2 on site bay area) type req and the other a DevOps req (romania/europe/east coast preferred). the company is hiring via recruiters so not sure how to post the details. the company is a small wireless engineering company with HUGE potential and a good culture.

Hey Fediverse! I am looking for new audio(-adjacent) jobs. I am based near Karlsruhe, Germany, and have a little (but professional) editing suite at home. Jobs should be remote, and I have about 5-10h per week for this. Think stuff like:
- Music Composer/Arranger/Producer (has to be compatible with being a GEMA member) for Media
- Podcast/Audio Book Editor, Voiceover Recording (own voice) and Editing
- Screencap Recording/rough Video Editing to demonstrate Audio Software, Virtual Instruments etc.
- Sound Design for Virtual Instruments
