There's naturally a lot of talk about the technical aspects of #linux yet this afternoon I find myself playing Terraria whilst listening to a podcast in #cachyOS and I just had this feeling of simply enjoying the experience, wanted to express the simple joy of it.
Doubtless some issue will crop up in the near future but until then I'm going to enjoy this moment.
Thanks to everyone who has dropped some #AtariST programming-related info. I have just set up a very basic thing on my system here, notepad++ and vasm on the command line for assembling really simple stuff to begin with. Will look at getting the programs into an emulator etc tomorrow - long day. #programming #demoscene
Hi, can anyone give me some pointers around learning coding on the #AtariST ? I picked up a copy of Atari ST Internals, going to get a 68000 book, but any tips on setting up an assembler/coding environment, that sort of thing. Big shout out to JBL who gets my #ewaste Of The Day award for gluing the battery into this bluetooth speaker, making it impossible to replace. There was absolutely no reason to glue it in. There was probably some way to prise it out, or use a load of solvent etc, but frankly that's not the point.
The next speaker I buy, I'll be checking if it has a fully-replaceable battery.
