Just got in from 'The Big Gig' coronation party in Market Square. What an awesome evening with hundreds of people of all ages all dancing, singing and partying. I'm certainly exhausted after 6 hours!

Not only the first bit of crop off the #allotment for 2023, but the first of the asparagus that I've cut since I've grown it from seed 3 years ago. It's amazing to be able to have my own #homegrown veg. Carrots, beans, garlic and redcurrants in the slow cooked venison stew are also home grown. #GrowYourOwn

Around the corner from me there is a small patch of semi #wild #nature. Essentially it's a river area, with a pond, wetland area and lots of native trees and plants. There is a boardwalk through it with lovely benches too. It's surrounded by roads, houses and fields. It's probably only about 200m x 100m in size... But this is a list of #birds that I heard/saw today. #birdwatching I love that nature slips into these wild areas

On Saturday I attended #TheBigOne, a huge #climate #protest organised by #ExtinctionRebellion including 600 other organisations calling on the government to #TellTheTruth about the #ClimateEmergency. There were tens of thousands of us there. It was far, far bigger than I expected. The event has been going on since Friday and it still going on today.

Looking at the front pages of all the main news sites... Not a mention. Nothing. I wish I were surprised though.

Uh oh... So yesterday I went on a busy train into and home from London and joined a very busy protest. Today I feel rubbish. This of course won't be from that journey as it's too soon... But I really hope I didn't pass it on too much yesterday. 😔
