@greensparks I'm not going to say I don't weed, I do, especially around alliums as they have very weak roots. Basically if its going to affect my crop, it comes out, but that's about it. Potatoes are fine, as are most squash family. I keep the tomatoes lightly weeded. It's part laziness and part wanting to keep nature on my allotment too.

@stevesplace the natives are griping already, but actually the allotment warden was quite chill about it when he came to have a chat with me about it. I've also consulted with him on how to 'manage' the wild area (let's be honest, it's never going to be truly wild), and he had some good suggestions too. Going to try to work out what I want to do now 😂
