Heyooo, I'm Tove! I'm an old computer poker with more interests than time (autistic and probably ADHD). Some of the more recurring ones are software dev, microelectronics, whittling, knitting/crochet, reading, political science/anthropology/sociology/history/etcetc and games.

I am terrible at social interactions and seems to have developed social anxiety in the decade or so of really bad mental health I'm just about crawling out of. Initiating contact with others is very hard for me, so might not do it often. Also, I will probably come to the conclusion that reaching out to someone makes me a bother or annoying or just too weird, so for their sake I refrain, usually.

But will absolutely try to engage if others take the initiative! (Probably badly. Fair warning.) Initiate contact and you'll probably become my favourite person!

Keep being the awesomeness that you are! <3

Working on my own political theory. I'm calling it anarcat. It'll involve lots of naps, free food and and fun toys. Also more naps. And cuddles.
So a hat in this style that when the "foldable-ear-tab-thingies" are released they pop up into animal ears of your choosing. Could someone make this happen?
I genuinely think the worst thing the internet did to reading was convince people that finishing books is a competitive sport. You don't need to read 52 books a year. You just need to read. Books you like. At your own pace. And think about them for longer than a TikTok video.
Getting into bed with fresh sheets, after a bath and with a clean apartment and clean clothes (already put away in their proper places, on the same day as they were laundered?!?!) is the absolute best!
Is there, like, a #transgender #sewing / #tailoring / #dressmaking community somewhere online?
I always thought the expression "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" sounded weird, since.. you know.. you can't actually do that? Like, you can't pull on your bootstraps up some stairs for example.

But it turns out that the expression started out as a parody of what it now is for, to express how impossible it is for everyone to just work hard and become billionaires or something like that..

When economists insist that they too are scientists because they use mathematics, they are no different from astrologists protesting that they are just as scientific as astronomers because they also use computers and complicated charts.- Yanis Varoufakis, economist (from Talking to My Daughter - A Brief History of Capitalism)

Brought to you by "where the hell am I gonna register a new domain???" xD
Loopia, as a company, is a fucking joke.. Their prices are so incredibly uncompetitive that I don't get how they are still in business (they hosted my first homepage back in the early '00s, so they've been around for a bit ^^), I suspect the reasons they still get customers is their so well-known here now and it's one of the few hosting-companies with pages in Swedish..

Anyway, they're charging people 9.99SEK/month (about a euro) (not including taxes) to get access to "advanced DNS management", as in being able to edit DNS records....
The netcup support, which is usually very quick with answering questions (or at least acknowledging them) has yet to answer.. do they have a lot to do or don't they like people finding out what their hardware supports? :P
