Checked the chapter names of one of the many books on my tbr-list, and apparently you lot are in here!

Tonight's little project, hopefully it'll help me relax some, I really need that.
OK, how is it that, despite first coming out and transitioning over 12 years ago this is the first
piece of flannel clothing I own, in my life?!?! Like it was a childhood dream of mine to be a lesbian! (there may have been signs of transness in my youth. subtle ones) (and yes, I am a little embarrassed admitting that :P) It's actually shameful..
Seeing as I've been moving away from the overcompensating femininity in the past few years (finally! took me a while to get over that phase and also move away from the binary, probably because of all my mental health issues and isolation..) I should stock up my wardrobe with more flannel over the next few months! It's kinda like septum piercings or short skirts, everyone looks hotter in it.

Here, a comfort prize for not getting to see the xmas tree: a sexy, sexy beast of a keyboard. I know the reviews said it could be used as a weapon, weighing in on almost 2.4kg, but damn. Also, first time I'm trying linear switches and first impression.. Amazing. Feels just.. amazing typing! And the sound is perfect! Turns out the load clicketyclickety gets old pretty quick..

But this has a very subtle thonk to it, much like.
Also. åäöåäöåäöåäö

Was gonna try to get into some Xmas spirit here, but it seems I have to play "what's the resistance" for a bit first.. :/ (being a little colourblind makes those coloured bands more or less useless for me..)
This can't be a very good way of teaching can it?? First thing in this chapter you get to pair 6 words/expressions with 6 pictures. Only, these words aren't even introduced until later in this chapter?? (Also, notice how no 4 is "friends", which match two pictures and you can only figure out which one by looking ahead at no 6, "Chinese friends"...)
There was a similar thing in the workbook tests for the previous chapter. You were supposed to answer a few relatively simple questions, but the questions contained words the books haven't covered yet, and there were no information on what they meant.
I mean.. this isn't a me-thing, right? This is a terrible way of teaching, yeah?
Anyone have any idea how to fix this, btw? Pretty sure at least one is some kind of icon/picture (nicotine+), while the other probably is that. (fcitx5)
It's.. a little annoying, but I don't even know where to look?
