Just drove west on SE #Division and the eastbound side is a disaster.
#TriMet buses are scattered along the route with their hazards on, and each one is backing up traffic for blocks. Saw it happen 3 times just between 42nd and 7th. Anyone know what is going on?

@genehack @sacha Thanks for saying hi! It's so great to connect with another Emacs user in the area—and the Perl connection is awesome too! I was completely surprised to see my post in Emacs Weekly lol.

If you're ever up in Portland, let me know. We should definitely grab a beer or coffee and talk Emacs or Thorns (though I'm still so sad about Hina leaving...).

How peeking at screens shaped my Emacs

I've always managed my tasks in #orgmode, but I kept losing track of the work I was handing off to #LLMs. I added the rules below to the top of my `CLAUDE.md`, and now Claude Code automatically logs its own work directly into my org files.

It's been super handy for me, so I'm sharing the instructions! The AI's work is recorded as tagged subtasks, so filtering them is really easy.

Laid off :/

I know:

- Unity C#
- Rust
- Python

I can learn:

- Anything

I am in Massachusetts. Remote work would be great too

I've 8 years of experience as an MIT software engineer specializing in research simulation platform projects. I would prefer: not creating the next big AI thing, not making weapons, never having to think about blockchain anything.

Anyone got anything?

@raineer Thank you!
Just noticed that my monitors are so dirty...😅
This is how it handles the notch automatically.

@codeDude Haha, I actually built this one myself! 😎

But tiling on macOS is definitely a thing. There are other choices available too—just don't expect the same level of freedom as Linux!
