Does the #BangkoSentral #BSP #CentralBank lend money directly to the #Philippines government(national & local)?

I see the BSP works differently than the #FederalReserve. Like the BSP can fight inflation by directly removing money from circulation by issuing securities. The Fed can only control interest rate(?).
Am I looking at #MMT here?

@su37 I just discovered that @Tusky has an account here. They said these problems would be fixed in the next update. Seems youre right, the sudden influx of new people because of #Musk caused this.

Finally able to login again to my #Tusky. The Local and Federated tabs are (still) not working/showing nothing so I deleted then reinstalled but when I tried logging in, it said "Security verification failed. Are you blocking cookies?" I am not but am using #VPN. I emailed staff@mastodon but still no reply. But when I tried to login now, Im let in. What happened?
