Tom DelargyA high percentage of @neilhimself's posts on the other place are quote posts. Can any legitimate criticisms of those be made? One reason he may not post as often on Mastodon as I'd like is because this method isn't allowed here. Here's one example of him using it to expose racism against himself on the other place. Had he been unable to quote post he couldn't provide evidence, so I couldn't complain to Elon Musk. Musk has had days to punish this antisemite but has yet to do anything. #QuotePosts

Dr Johnny BlanchardA few mods to the GBS8200. First removing and then bridging the variable resistors because the GBS Control can handle colour correction so we want the unregulated signal to go through, then we’re adding an SI5351 board for variable video clock. Annoyingly, the ESP module isn’t responding to wifi so I can’t see if the clock board is working. The GBSControl software is definitely running and working though #retrocomputing
Jan BetaGood morning Mastodon! I just gently put my #birdsite account to sleep, deleting all posts and likes I could. I also unfollowed everybody I was following. I didn't find a way to remove followers in bulk without blocking them (any ideas?). I'm still going to try to delete more over the next couple of days but the scripts available seem to be struggling a bit. I'm not going to delete the account completely (yet) to prevent misuse of my username. Feels good. :)
