Who I am: tc2142, now otherwise known as Lockheed by friends.
I am a Genderfluid Brony, enthusiast of Aerospace Engineering, and have a highly visual imagination that helps me to create things. I used to create a lot of things, but have become less active with time.

Known elsewhere for being the Owner, Lead Designer of the Ponyworks Dupe Engineering Group, being highly experienced in Garry's Mod Sandbox gamemode with 37k+ hours since 2015, and owning the "tc2142's PPM2 Pony Build Server" there.

PronounsThey/Them only please
Where else I can be foundMatrix: tc2142:thishorsie.rocks - Don't reach out to me on discord unless unavoidable!

Seems today is not so good of a day. A friend of mine I quite care about has had a missile strike next door.

They are unharmed, but the constant explosions the last couple days have been keeping them up and stressed, and now this, having them thinking they could die at any time now..

I'm worried for them. Worried, and absolutely *incandescently* angry..

Recently had a mental breakdown and bought tickets to San Francisco to attend a brony convention/concert. ยฃ700+ from London. Not even a brony. Decided to say fuck it and go, needed a break. Easily the most fun I've had in years and have made friends for life. Thank you bronies.
The skybox is the limit.

(CREATURE SCREECHING)
Three boosts?! I did not think this would become my most successful post ever here, I guess I'll have to talk a little more about this later then!
Feel really really beautiful and happy with myself today. Might delete later
Have been feeling I should really reduce my dependence on Discord more and more over time, still considering where to try moving to. Been considering trying #Matrix on and off for some time now, are there any fellow bronies that know if a #Brony friendly / #Pony -oriented server exists out there?

Ten years of tc2142 - 2/10 - 2015:

By early 2015, the staff of BetaDev would lose patience for the player cities and highways running everywhere all across the world, and overnight all forms of roads, railways and city streets would be removed by the staff, along with significant portions of each city. This drove us out of the server for good, and lead me to run my own creative server to rebuild on.

It is around this time in early 2015 that I would become a Brony as well.

Through much of the year, I would build New Minetown, an even larger and more advanced city than the original. In time the server would be converted to being a rare modded creative server, expanding the creative potential of the city to it's peak. This would not last much longer however, and through the end of 2015 I moved to begin my long career in Garry's Mod.

I started out in a Sandbox server called Durpy's Pony Dream Server, there I started to learn how to build my early creations, and my pony self took form.

To start with, ten years of tc2142 - 1/10 - 2014:

I began this journey in Minecraft, having first started playing Java Edition for the first time at the beginning of April. At first, I stuck to singleplayer worlds, before exploring and playing on my first multiplayer servers in any game. I would soon end up on an old Creative freebuild server called BetaDev, the first place I would call home and stick around for a prolonged length of time.

There I would become hooked by the vision of creating my own city, as big of a city as I could imagine building, and seeing that it was in a multiplayer server, I dreamed of making it a city designed and meant for others to actually use as their home and build within, gaining people and expanding massively.

I named this city... Minetown. Generic name, but it really stuck with me. Soon the city would gain a character for innovating transportation, placing rails on the roads to use minecarts as cars, and drive on highways to other cities there.

The story behind the only known photo of Concorde flying at Mach 2

The photo in this post is the only image featuring the Anglo-French Concorde supersonic airliner flying at Mach 2.

@wonderofscience

โ€˜Even the F-22, developed almost 50 years after the Concorde and the reigning undisputed air supremacy fighter can only supercruise at Mach 1.8 and its top speed โ€“ Mach 2.2 โ€“ is the same as for a Tornado. If Concorde was still flying, it is unlikely it would be able to photograph it at Mach 2.0. Even if the Soviets back at the time were willing to lend the Mig-25/Mig-31, it is not entirely clear if it would be able to sustain the level flight with Concorde at Mach 2.0 for long enough to have a picture taken.โ€™

@wonderofscience coolest plane ever made๐Ÿ˜Œ

@wonderofscience

There is a Concorde at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Itโ€™s so cool to go on board and experience it.

@wonderofscience Imagine being Fred Finn and regularly seeing military jets trying to keep up with the Concorde you're traveling on
@wonderofscience I* used to love Concorde. It's such a pity it was only ever an elitist form of transport.
@MikeH @wonderofscience Which is the second reason to not look forward to supersonic air travel (no need to say the first)
@photovince @wonderofscience I can't see any point in "looking forward" to something that's had its day, despite what https://boomsupersonic.com/ may say.

@wonderofscience
The Concorde is still a truly beautiful aircraft.
There, Eye said it.
@wonderofscience Queen of the Skies. I used to live under her flight path and you could tell what time it was when you heard her overhead

@wonderofscience

So beautiful ! This Aircraft was endlessly long.
Must be totally crazy, to sit in it, while it is flying 2 Mach. Can't imagine that.
