Have been feeling I should really reduce my dependence on Discord more and more over time, still considering where to try moving to. Been considering trying #Matrix on and off for some time now, are there any fellow bronies that know if a #Brony friendly / #Pony -oriented server exists out there?

@tc2142 Matrix restores the idea that a server is a literal computer server, so the words for what you mean are room or space. I don't know any pony rooms tho b/c that's not what I use it for (yet)

Matrix is a good bet because it's federated, so if your homeserver ever turns evil or something then changing servers doesn't mean cutting yourself off from your existing contacts.

@TarbuckTransom I was in fact meaning to refer to a literal server to store my account on, I would trust a brony-run server to be relatively quiet, small and safe for someone like me to store their data on long-term much more than one of the big servers everyone else goes to, same reason I sought out a brony-run instance here on the fediverse.
