Just saw someone on a cargo bike get hit by a driver taking a right into Huntington from Mass Ave in #Boston. Luckily BFD responded quickly and she was awake and moving on the ground.
Daylight, bright clothes, with the light, in the bike lane, ringing a bell the whole time. None of which matters when car drivers can't bother looking.

You may have heard that Houston schools plan to convert libraries to disciplinary centers and fire the librarians.

What you may not have heard is that the State of Texas took over the Houston school district and installed its own superintendent.

That's the guy who is closing libraries. This is not something local residents want, and the superintendent is not locally accountable,

People keep making new Substack newsletters. I keep pointing out politely that the founders are terrible enablers of transphobes, hate speech, vaccine denial, and more. They reap their reward from fear, hate, and disinformation.

They’re heeerrrreee!

The #Vermont rescues landed safely in Mass. late yesterday afternoon and are now settled into our adoption centers.

These pets will be available for adoption once their 48-hour quarantine ends. Keep watch at our website for updates!

Please consider an emergency donation to ensure we have the resources necessary to care for these dogs and cats ->
