I keep thinking about #RealityWinner and #ChelseaManning. 2 heroic #whistleblowers who also leaked #classified documents, but for noble reasons. Neither of them got released on bail or OR while they awaited trial.
So why is Trump not in jail? He is an obvious flight risk (after all, he owns his own private plane!) and there is an ongoing risk that he will continue to leak classified information (even if he doesn't still have the paper documents).

"1993, Arthur Kellermann, MD, then at the University of Tennessee, and colleagues published a highly publicized paper that found keeping a gun in the home was strongly associated with an increased risk of homicide by an intimate acquaintance or family member (The New England Journal of Medicine, Vol. 329, No. 15, 1993). After the paper’s publication, the National Rifle Association lobbied for the elimination of the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, which funded the study. In 1996, Congress responded by passing an appropriations bill that stated that “none of the funds made available for injury prevention and control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may be used to advocate or promote gun control.” "
