"Toxic advice" is hard to identify, and that makes it fairly malicious.

Watch out for:
- Self-proclaimed "veterans" giving out tips
What works for one does not work for all. Most success is a matter of circumstance, not skill. The illusion of being self-made is a product itself.

- YouTube/Reddit advice as a whole
You don't know these people: they are in no position to give YOU advice. Live your own life.

- High-risk, life-altering choices
If it sounds too risky, it is. Breathe! #gamedev
