They’ve never seen a loved one die because of denial of care, they don’t have to worry about going bankrupt because of a medical expense.
It’s a class issue. Don’t take them seriously, when they moralize at you about why you’re bad and you should feel bad. Just remember the people you love whose lives are harder because of private health insurance and don’t let them gaslight you.
I think it’s still wild how Veggie Tales still succeeds in basically being correct on general theological statements. Reminds me of Bautista’s character in Cabin in the Woods. You have to be careful with your words around kids. You have to make sure they’re true, because they’ll believe you.
