It's unhealthy and unsafe to put every aspect of yourself online all in one place, anyway. Mastodon turned out to be better suited for specific interests such as motorcycles. Then, I started following a lot of current events, which became incredibly stressful. It was also probably not great for the people on this bikers server. I'm sorry about that and I'm actually glad that my posts won't follow me to my next server, where I'm really going to focus on my riding adventures. See you there! 2/2

Hey everyone, the server I'm on, bikers.social, is shutting down so I'm moving to a new server. I'm also going to refocus somewhat. When I first joined Mastodon in October 2023, I expected it to be a book of faces replacement, where I would put my whole life on it like it was my social resume. I quickly realized it made no sense to do that because not one single person I know in person is on Mastodon and I've never been able to convince any of them to join. 1/2
