Yesterday I asked students in each of the courses I’m teaching to create a course “index”—an alphabetical list of terms/names/phrases relevant to the discussions we’ve had this semester. Today my brain is still dazzled by the richly textured indexes they created. I’m an incredibly lucky teacher✨ #pedagogy #teaching #learning

Today in downtown Flushing I noticed a woman watching me through a window. The moment we made eye contact I froze. She looked almost identical to me—except much older. When I smiled she turned around and vanished into a crowd.

Am I a clone? Did I time travel from the future?
