Everton. West Ham. Bournemouth. Villa. Now Wolves. So so many opportunities for #MUFC to be higher up the league than we are. And we’ve bottled it every single time. Despite being in an overall better position than previous seasons, we have never been more frustrating to watch #MUNWOL
Finally, after 95 hours of gameplay, I got the platinum trophy on #HogwartsLegacy last night. Thoroughly enjoyable - even if you're not a Harry Potter fan - and a good, solid solo game. Some of the trophies are a little tedious at times (like solving 95 Merlin trials and completing 603 Collections), but the side quests weren't overly repetitive and gameplay world itself was pretty beautiful. Would recommend.
So, is there an option yet in #iOS26 to have different Home and Lock Screen wallpapers for light and dark modes without having to use Focus Modes/Shortcuts?
Calling all football (soccer) fans. What app do you use on #iOS for scores? I’ve always used #FotMob as it has Live Activities, which is really useful for keep track of #MUFC when they’re not on TV. But most other people I know seem to use #Flashscore, which is good because I can also follow #WidnesVikings games as well, all in the same app. But no Live Activities. Then there’s the #AppleSportsApp, which also has Live Activities but no rugby league. Absolute minefield.
Buying a car is so frustrating. Since the turn of the year I’ve managed one test drive. One. And that was a self-service one with #Tesla (which was very smooth). Since then I’ve had #Kia cancel three test drives from one dealership, so I tried a different one and had two booked yesterday morning - an #EV3 and an #EV6; and a #Skoda #Enyaq in the afternoon. All were then subsequently cancelled by the dealer. What is going on?! It shouldn’t be this hard to part with my cash!
@tillathenun @serichards @FlanFlinger so I guess I’m looking for advice on any of those cars if any of you have one/have had one/have driven them, please; whether the salary sacrifice seems a good route or whether I’m crazy; any advice or guidance at all. Should also add that a colleague of mine will car share with me (he has a Model 3), so of the 3 days per week perhaps he drives 2/I drive 1 and vice-versa. Thank you 🙏🏻
@tillathenun @serichards @FlanFlinger my current shortlist (because if I’m gonna get one I want a decent one, especially if it’ll end up becoming our main car) is: Kia EV6, Tesla Model Y, Kia EV3, Skoda Enyaq (in order of preference). I’m entrenched in the Apple ecosystem which puts me off the Model Y because of no CarPlay (and, you know, Elon’s a bit of a knob). The EV6 is my favourite but is the most expensive on our scheme (I would end up paying ~£80 pm on top of my company car allowance)
@tillathenun @serichards @FlanFlinger hopefully you’re all fine with me making a combined thread. I have an office commute for which I currently get the train (£15 per day, min. of 3 days per week). I’m contemplating an EV on our company salary sacrifice scheme. And whilst I know it may not be cheaper, it provides added peace of mind for when the trains get cancelled (I’d say 90% of my journeys to work are fine, and 75% of my journeys home), and doubles up as a second family car (2 kids < 10yo)
Any of my UK followers got an #EV? Thinking of taking the plunge but need a sensible conversation (i.e. not asking angry people on reddit)
And for those people using CARROT, what do you use as your weather source?
