Interesting weeks, after Opus 4.6 from #Anthropic , GPT 5.3 Codex from #OpenAICodex , now we've got GLM 5 from #Zai

Their notes: targeting complex systems engineering and long-horizon agentic tasks

@DLC hey, thank you, I've just heard of it, I'll try to explore and learn it

Wrote a new post exploring three ideas I keep coming back to: local-first software, user-controlled personalization, and decentralization as a way to avoid single points of failure.

The short version:
→ Your data should live on your device first, not on someone else's server
→ Personalization should mean you owning your identity, not an algorithm profiling you
→ Decentralization isn't about hype — it's the same principle behind email and P2P networks

I tried to keep it grounded and skip the buzzwords. If you're building in this space or just thinking about where software is heading, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Your Data, Your Rules: Local First, Personalization, and Decentralization Without the Buzzwords

There’s a quiet shift happening in how software is being built. It’s about where your data lives, who gets to control it, and what happens…

@stephenblum I'm agree with the thought, engineering or engineer not dead like most people said, it just going to change the direction, which I think coding is slowly become not part of it anymore, the knowledge, skills and decision, we as software engineer still need it

Found a very interesting article on Medium about software architecture:

Are there someone here who already had experiences use it? It looks like, "screaming architecture" was same with "modular monolith"

Often, developers overlook folder structure because it seems unimportant. However, as a system grows, maintaining it becomes increasingly…

@pippo30_16 thank you for your feedback, and you're right, I'm still working to publish on other platforms, each of them has their own policies, so yeah, it will takes some times on it

I just published my first post about why I'm leaving LinkedIn and building my own media network as a solo developer.

4,000 followers. 500+ connections. And I'm walking away — because reach without resonance is meaningless.

Instead of arguing about ideas, I'd rather build something with them. So here I am, starting from post one.

Ideas. Progress. Numbers. That's what I'm here for.

Start With Why: Leaving LinkedIn and Building a Personal Media Network as a Solo Developer

Back in January this year, I published my first book — The Last Engineer — on Google Play Books. I was excited. I shared it on LinkedIn…

Hey! I'm a solo developer working mostly with Rust. I write about ideas and concepts at Medium (medium.com/lifefunk) and starting to share technical content on dev.to too. Excited to connect with other developers here. Currently working on github.com/airsstack
