I have (ahem) a few decades of work info in #onenote notebooks, but am thinking of switching at least partially to #logseq going foward. Any words of wisdom?
I've kept my notebooks local, out of microsoft's cloud, and have multiple backups, but with windows 10 going it seems like too much of a risk to rely on their proprietary format. Switching to #LibreOffice should be fine for documents and slides, but afaik they don't have anything for onenote.
I'm thinking of exporting all my notebooks to pdf as a just-in-case backup, but searching will be a pain. The most critical part of my notes are text so will also try a text export; plenty of embedded images and formatting I'll be sorry to lose but think I can do without.
Seriously annoyed at microsoft that I'm having to put time into all this instead of science; there are already sufficient "distractions" at the moment.
