There's a story behind this. Wayyy back when I was 13 and living in the Sacramento, California area, I used to go to Denio's in Roseville, California - a big mess of flea market and all sorts of other stuff that has been there forever. One year in the mid 80s, I 'borrowed' this model of CB Radio from a vendor and ran off with it. That hasn't settled well with me a zillion years later. I'm trying to make things right by actually purchasing one.

In 166 days #Android will become a locked-down platform because Google wants to kill Android freedom.

At Tuta, we say NO. Google must keep Android open & free!

It seems to be a 286/12Mhz with.. 512K of RAM? There is an interesting full length card in here that I have no idea what it does.
When was the last time you saw an MFM drive? An MFM controller?! Sadly, while it had an external battery pack, it had a Varta battery that wasn't removed. Yeah it leaked, but it seems possibly salvagable. Who happens to have an CGA monitor lying around here? This guy of course. I'll try to fire this up at a later date.
It looks like the adapter might actually be broken! Or at least made wrong. Took a bit of searching to find out what the 44 pin IDE pinout is. Apparently there are *two* 5V pins (one for motor, one for logic) and only one is connected on this adapter. No problem, I'll drill a "via" and run a short jumper wire through. #linux #VintageComputing #RetroComputing

Thinking of #DeGoogling but not sure where to start? You've come to the right place.
