I'm mostly a macOS user at home, but I also have a ridiculously beefy off-lease Lenovo Thinkstation P920 that I've had for a few years. It has dual 18 core Xeon processors in it, for a total of 72 cores hyperthreaded and 192GB of RAM...and today I found a use for all that power finally. It's going through 60TB of OTA recordings I captured and removing all the commercials from them. I will say this room is toasty and the fans are ramped up. #video #windows #ota
Fired up the Proliant Server I’ve had here for a couple of months. There’s life in her but either the drives are blank or those empty spots are part of a needed RAID. Either way she’s a dual Pentium Pro 200 with 128MB. #server #retrocomputing

Made it to Dallas for the #vcfsw. Hopefully I'll find some goodness here and maybe say hi to a few people. #retrocomputing
I was getting ready to crash for the night and it just hit me.. today is May 25th! May 25th, 1992 is when the BBS was founded. That means this is our.. 34th anniversary! Holy crap. Thanks to EVERYONE who has made this a success and for supporting it for over THREE DECADES. You guys are awesome. #bbs #retrocomputing

Eric Carr got the #MSX version of #FujiNet 5-Card-Stud Poker working well enough to show at VCFSW on the 29th-31st in Dallas/Ft Worth. Thank you!

Shown here on a Panasonic FS-A1

If you tried connecting and couldn't... well, the PC running the BBS Server Gateway decided to stop doing the things. We're fixed now. #bbs
