Went for a morning run at the San Leandro Marina and was rewarded with this view.
To reiterate, what I want out of a phone:
- Headphone jack
- Square corners on screen, no rounded edges
- No holes in screen
- Smol like my hands
- Ability to install and distribute my own software
- Ability to turn off anything that bugs me
- Ability, when reading ebooks, to silence visual "noise" like clocks or navbars
- I want to neither monetarily nor in platform political power support a company that sells "AI"-branded features as part of their business activities

The republicans have put language in this most recent budget bill that deliberately targets trans people.
To be explicit:
Preventing trans people from getting care is as lethal as preventing diabetics from getting care.
It is -your- responsibility to call your senators - both of them - to demand that this bill not pass.
It is your responsibility to do this because you, as the majority, have the actual power in this relationship; trans people depend on your ethical and moral choices in order to stay alive, because we are in a very small minority and cannot meaningfully influence this process.
If you fail in this responsibility, people will die, and it will be, collectively, your fault.
I am watching your actions, as are other members of the community.
If you don't like this, then imagine how much I dislike your cis compatriots supporting legislation that is specifically targeted to kill me and the people I care about.
Fucking fix your shit.

This is horrible. I don't even know what to say. Some of our most key polar data.
"As a result, the level of services for affected products below will be reduced to Basic—meaning they will remain accessible but may not be actively maintained, updated, or fully supported."
On Sunday, a report from DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is due that could include a recommendation to invoke the Insurrection Act as part of Trump’s effort to "secure" the southern border.
Let’s be clear: This might not happen. But we’d be foolish not to take the possibility seriously. This isn’t about fear, it’s about preparation. https://indivisible.org/resource/could-trump-invoke-insurrection-act-what-know-and-how-prepare
To my American friends,
I love you dearly, but if you joke about the annexation of Canada like it's not deadly fucking serious, I have no issue with dropping your ass. That Damn Frank got a block. I have a feeling that he won't be the last.
This is an invasion we're talking about. An unlawful imposition of one country's will against another.
If you think we'll lie back and just take it, you don't know anything about us.
I like to think that I choose my friends carefully. I call you friends because you are compassionate and strive for kindness and acceptance. I hope y'all don't let me down.
