We’re organizing against this fascistic clown show of a regime the only way that actually works — with on-the-ground, volunteer-led, communities of people power.

The map for No Kings Day just went live with nearly 600 peaceful protests planned across all 50 states (including our flagship event in the Twin Cities).

Ordinary people are doing extraordinary things to protect their neighbors from the regime — and nowhere has made that clearer than Minnesota.
As Trump becomes more unpopular and the fragile MAGA coalition falls apart, the regime is getting more desperate in its attacks on free speech. Corporate leaders who side with fascists over our freedom of speech are making a bad bet that they will regret. CBS can’t be trusted under MAGA management.

CBS is Trump TV. Less than two months after CBS News suddenly pulled a report on the regime’s prison camps, CBS lawyers told Stephen Colbert that he couldn’t air an interview with a Texas Democratic candidate.

This is what complicity looks like. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/media/stephen-colbert-cbs-james-talarico-fcc-rcna259341

Stephen Colbert says CBS didn't air interview out of fear of FCC

"Late Show" host Stephen Colbert said CBS did not air his Monday interview with Texas state Rep.

The early energy we’re seeing around this upcoming day of defiance goes way beyond what we saw this far out from our record-setting mass mobilizations last year. March 28 will be the largest day of protest in American history.

We the People will say in one unbreakable voice: No thugs terrorizing our neighborhoods. No rigging our elections. No palatial ballrooms while people struggle to afford basic housing. No troop deployments in our streets. NO KINGS. https://www.nokings.org/?SQF_SOURCE=indivisible

No Kings

As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS non-violent movement continues to rise stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has No Kings and the power belongs to the people.

TODAY: As Congress’ fight over the DHS funding bill continues, we’re contacting voters in key states to connect them with their GOP senators to demand that ICE’s terror tactics be stopped for good. https://www.mobilize.us/indivisible/event/900426/
ICE Out For Good Funding Fight Weekly Phonebank · Indivisible

Our communities are being terrorized by masked federal agents. They’re teargassing babies, kidnapping our neighbors, shooting clergy in the face with chemical projectiles, and killing innocent people. We have an opportunity to rein in ICE and Border Patrol at the federal level. Congress is currently negotiating funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which includes ICE and Border Patrol. We are demanding our Members of Congress write a bill that stops the violence in our communities and holds ICE and Border Patrol agents accountable. This is our opportunity to put significant restrictions on these agencies and ensure they don’t get a single penny more to enable their brutality. Join us every Tuesday at 1 p.m. EST while DHS funding is being negotiated to engage voters in key states and encourage them to call their Members of Congress and tell them to hold the line and demand that ICE’s terror tactics be stopped for good. (This event is presented by Indivisible Project.) **PLEASE NOTE: If negotiations change and the need for weekly phone banks no longer exists, this event will be cancelled.**

Today, we mourn a giant in the civil rights movement who left an indelible mark on our politics and our world. All of us in the fight to build a democracy that works for everyone stand on the shoulders of Reverend Jesse Jackson. Rest in power to an icon in the movements for racial equality and economic justice. Together, we will carry on the fight to prove that “We the People can win!”

DHS funding ran out over the weekend. Democrats made it clear they would not support any appropriations bill without restrictions on ICE — and when the vote came, they did not fold.

Now we must encourage our Members of Congress to keep holding the line to stop ICE’s terror tactics for good: https://act.indivisible.org/sign/ice-out-for-good/?source=mastodon

Tell Your Members of Congress: Halt the ICE Terror Machine

On January 24, federal forces with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. This was just over two weeks after the killing of Renee Good. These killings are a direct result of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities. Congress is currently negotiating funding for DHS, which includes ICE and Border Patrol. We are demanding our Members of Congress draft a new bill that, at minimum: Ensures there is not one penny more for ICE or CBP Pulls ICE and Border Patrol out of Minneapolis and the rest of our communities Prevents ICE or Border Patrol enforcement at designated ‘sensitive locations’ such as houses of worship, day cares, and hospitals Restricts ICE and Border Patrol’s ability to target people based on their race, language or accent, place of employment, or location at the time of the apprehension Ends the administration’s unlawful practice of warrantless home entry and arrests Use this tool to instantly contact your Members of Congress with a clear message: Protect our communities by reining in ICE NOW.
