Recently added ControlNet support to my #opensource macOS #stablediffusion video platform app, Pokora. Still figuring out the best settings to use for different source media, but getting MUCH better results!

- Follow bots like @icymi_law (for law content) & @colarusso_algo (for general geekery). They can help you discover good follows & either flesh out a sparse timeline or find the signal in the noise.

- Find new friends (based on who your follows follow): https://followgraph.vercel.app

- Use lists! Mine include: folks I know IRL, bots (see above), etc.

Hi, I’m PJ. Having completely moved over from the bird app, thought it was time for a proper #introduction post. Me:

💻 Weird niche coding side projects, currently working on an open source Stable Diffusion based video platform for macOS, called Pokora.

🎧 Collect vinyl and DJ, mostly 60s/70s soul and funk 45s. During the pandemic I got back into music production, making weird sample based beats and remixes.

🌸 Grow flowers, specifically dahlia’s. I’m obsessed with all the different varieties.

I suppose it will just take time, but I am itching for a native iOS/iPadOS/Mac #Fediverse app, that feels like Reddit. Fully switched over from Twitter, ready to do the same with Reddit, regardless of if they wise up. I’m done with them.

For reference, that video originally took me roughly 7 or 8 hours to render on my M1 MacMini, on the M2 Studio Ultra (76 core gpu) it took about 1.5 hours, plus about 30min more for the uprez pass.
