I got to give a little talk to some faculty at another institution today, and the best part was that they got my pop culture references because they are fellow olds. "Who am I? Why am I here?" actually got a chuckle, an audible chuckle from a room of folks over Zoom.
I spend a lot more time looking at my kids' faces than I do looking at my own. So, it's weird when I see an old picture of myself and my brain's first response is, "Hey, that person looks like my kid."
