<p>Active on the Fedi with several accounts. Trying out Friendica now. 😊</p><p>I will be boosting toots from my Masto accounts, as I don't have the spoons to type things several times... So just a heads up! I will also write posts on here from time to time...</p><p>I'm a NeuroSpicy woman that uses pronouns of she/her, but I also don't mind they/them, as I've never really felt like I was a "girlish" girl, I always enjoyed the boys stuff more...<br>I'm bisexual, have been married for a while, but now I've been single for over 6 years and I'm OK with that. Have been exploring genders for a while, and I am leaning towards "Autienby"... It's not very well known, but what is known, kinda suits me and my feelings... <br>I live with my chocolate brown Labrador gall Arwen, who will (hopefully) be 12 years old this July.<br>I've moved to a new town in July last year, and I'm slowly adjusting to the new life.<br>I've been a hip patient since I was 16/17, had many surgeries and two replacements (on the same side) and this year I'll need another surgery... Bummer!</p><p>All my other Fedi links are on the profile. I don't know how much or little I'll use this app, but I'm looking forward to exploring it more! 😁</p><p>That's all for now! Sorry I've not been on this site for a while. I've been trying out a different Friendica site. And both this one and the other one have their pros and cons...
Don't know what I like best yet. I think I prefer this one, but I don't know how stable it is these days...
So I'll check this one out some more again now... Let's compare some more... 😊

I wish friendica.world would show me the toots my friends have been sharing... Last update was of 21 hours ago. I do see one message from a few hours ago, from someone I don't follow but that got answered by Ruud...

It doesn't show me anything new, and changing circles doesn't trigger a load either...

Hopefully @ruud is aware of this... The site seems faster, but it just doesn't load any new messages of any of the people that I follow...

I really loved the idea of Friendica, but it seems it has its flaws here and there...

So I guess I'll be doing most of the Tooting back on Masto...

Fingers crossed 🀞🏻 that the timelines will refresh soon again!

Me, looking at Google’s graveyard of platforms and features that they shutter, pouring one out for G+.

Me, looking at SixDegrees which was shuttered, only to be resold and turned into Linkedin so we all had to start over, lol
People REALLY don’t remember history, not even in their own lifetime, about how professional tech companies - even billion dollar ones - shutter things on them ALL THE TIME πŸ˜‚

Alllllrighty then... This will be a hard night... 

Last night was short. The real night was long, especially since Arwen needed loads of potty breaks and ass wipings...  but I'm sure it's harder on than it was on me...

But... I did learn from this night that Arwen won't come into the bedroom to wake me up when she needs me... So... I'm preparing the couch for myself right now. We'll go out to the bushes around 15, and then I'll get ready to try and get some sleep. 

It will probably be a broken night. But I hope that the rice with broth will help to calm Arwen's stomach a bit. Fingers crossed 🀞🏻

I'll do my best to be there for her. Sure, I'll grumble about my lack of sleep. I'll moan about my added pains and discomforts. But, in the end, I just want Arwen to feel better again... πŸ’œ

Hopefully, I'll be able to get some sleep in between potty breaks...

Thank you  to everyone that shared their well wishes for Arwen. We really appreciate it!

Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 568 , Sunday 18/05/2025

Sunday started slowly, I wandered down for breakfast around 07:45 & then, after a few chores played a little Witcher 3.

We watched a couple of movies after lunch - β€œThe Wild Robot’ which I can heartily recommend & the the 2004 version of β€˜The Manchurian Candidate’ the one with Denzel Washington in it.

We had pulled pork & chips for tea - a compromise between a takeaway & a home made meal.

The day ended with an episode of Poirot.

Final Thoughts.

A nice chill day with nothing too triggering.

Thank you to all those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways. I am thankful to each & every one of you! πŸ«‚ πŸ«ΆπŸΏοΈπŸ––

This precious two-month-old otter pup was found alone on the beach in Homer. She is now in the care of the Alaska SeaLife Center where she is receiving round-the-clock care for malnutrition, dehydration, and an injury to one of her front paws.
