@skyfaller good question. in our family, where we have a medically, complicated kid, we were very open and frank about keeping our son safe.

Every invitation to our house was couched by please do not come over if you are sick or have been exposed to anyone who is sick.

We also ended up hiring private caretaking. We couldn't expose him to daycare for the real fear of him, ending up back in the hospital.
