Around 12:45 AM I met the DOT paving crew in Forest Hills, where they were laying asphalt at night so fewer New Yorkers have to commute around workzones.

I'm walking through queens plaza and I run into my wife, who's biking on the queensboro bike path. She stops for maybe two mins while I adjust her bike brakes. Someone biking by yells, "go on a date or something, but get out of the bike lane!"
