Did a nice longer run today. Finally took a good photo of one of the windmills I often pass in De Munnikenpolder. This one was moved here from somewhere else and acts as a reserve, as far as I remember. I don’t think anyone lives in here.

Finally took my new shoes out for a run. First time I’m using New Balance, outside of my sneakers. So far so good, had to size up for them to fit properly, but the run was great (but warm already 🥵)

I had to race to the start of my Parkrun this morning. The 200th edition of the Kagerzoom Parkrun, so an anniversary. I missed the speech and had to squeeze myself to the middle of the group of people at the start. After the first meters I noticed my shoelace was untied 🤦‍♂️. So not a personal best today, but it did feel good and did a nice sprint at the end.

Woke up early, so went out for a short run. I love how quiet it is. Crossed my paths with a lot of young duck and goose family’s and a cat who, by the looks of it, just got out of a fight.

Went out for a run with my girlfriend. I ran the first half with her and the second half with our dog. Almost the same route and since she is just starting out we walked a couple of times. Both are crashing on the couch right now, taking a nap 😅
