Mmhmm. Israel will scream about anyone they haven't seen recently or loudly-enough protesting Hamas but will, in that same breath, refuse to recognize Palestinians are human, and not animals.
2-for-1, wow, what a deal. According to Israel it only murdered two innocent people for every 'alleged bad guy' in a place they've oppressed for decades. A bargain, really!
(those numbers are also bullshit. Israel has already proven to equate just about everyone in #Palestine to either Hamas or nothing more than animals)

The juxtaposition of the immediate western outrage for anything that happens "to Israel" and its subsequent willingness to ignore anything harmful done BY Israel is not even subtle.
But it's been like that for decades, so what else is new?
There is a psychologically-based link whereby the oppressed may actually (more often than you might think) become the oppressors.
In #Gaza, the cemeteries are full, or gone, and so the mass graves are built. The image looks more familiar than I wish it did.
No content warnings, no hiding images, look at this and weep for #humanity.
Not war, it's #colonialism.
Not eviction, it's #ethniccleansing.
Not conflict, it's #occupation.
Not complicated, it's #genocide.
Violent #resistance to violent oppression wouldn't exist if there was no violent #oppression in the first place. Casualties of violent resistance to violent oppression are ultimately the sole blame of the violent oppressor.
